Also -- BE MINDFUL... I don't know how to word the rules for trading items after the Loot Master distributes them... BUT, we need to start brainstorming because its an odd scenario:
1) A person could roll last after seeing the rolls when they see their friend lose a roll for an item then trade it to them later. Essentially gives that person 2 rolls.
2) A person can sell their item to other people in the raid. Essentially encourages people to roll for items they don't need.
We cannot just automatically assume it would go to the NEXT HIGHEST roller if the highest roller doesn't want it. Let's say Stacy and I roll at the exact same time for an item and there are also other rollers. I get highest, she gets second highest. I then say I don't want it. That ALSO could be construed as giving her 2 rolls.
We cannot just automatically assume we should REROLL if the highest roller decides he doesn't want it. Let's say Stacy and I roll at the exact same time for an item and there are also other rollers. I get the highest, she gets THIRD highest. I then say I don't want it after seeing she wasn't the second roller thus forcing a reroll that will essentially allow her to get a second chance at winning the item.
As you can see... each rule we try to enforce, it can be abused. We really need to basically leave it up to council of all the raid members in my opinion. We'll just decide on the fly if a reroll OR second roller is best for the raid based on the relationship between the would-be secondary recipient. Any suggestions here for a clear-cut rule for this? I'm having trouble thinking of a third option besides second highest roll and a reroll.
